The LSIS STAR Awards nomination period closes on 12 June. Don't forget to nominate your unsung hero of further education (FE).
The STAR Awards have so far had yet another successful year of collecting nominations for the many unsung heroes working in FE. Managers, colleagues and learners have taken the time to nominate the people they think deserve recognition for the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm they demonstrate every day. Nominations have been flooding in for staff who think nothing of the outstanding work they do, staff who don’t realise how appreciated and respected they are, and staff who on a daily basis create innovative and exciting ways to develop learning and skills.
With 10 categories, the STAR Awards cover all aspects of FE provision and are open to those in teaching and non-teaching roles. Categories include workforce development, Skills for Life, engaging employers and lifetime achievement.
